I read Neil Gaiman’s «Coraline». Coraline moves with her parents to an old house divided into separate apartments. The other apartments were occupied by Miss Spink and Miss Forcible, Mr. Bobo, who claimed to train rats. And no one occupied the rooms next to Coraline’s parents’ apartment. On a rainy day, Coraline finds a locked door in the living room of her apartment, which most likely led to the next apartment. Coraline asks her mother to open the door, but after opening it, she finds out, that the entrance is blocked with bricks. When a girl goes to visit her neighbors, Mr. Bobo sends her a message about his mice: that suddenly won’t pass through the door. A tea party with Miss Spink and Forcible warns her of impending misfortune, because it gives a stone that brings good luck, in the middle of which a hole has been made. Despite these warnings, Coraline still decides to open the door. This time she sees that there are no bricks blocking the entrance to the door.
